Cross Cultural Trips.

Why go on a cross-cultural trip?

Navigators short-term mission trips can make a long-term impact, on others and on you, as you support established ministries around the world. Experience amazing people and places beyond your local community as you discover and share the gospel of Jesus inter-culturally. Join a mission trip team and build Kingdom relationships–with friends you invite to come along, in new settings with people from diverse cultures, and among fellow travelers on your journey.

Trip details:
Come alongside local staff and believers and serve amongst college students while also getting exposure to various ministries. Most of your time will be engaging students through one on one conversations and planned activities that will spark spiritual discussions.

You will also be exposed to various ministries in the area such as work among orphans, conversation English with high schoolers and agricultural based training with Christian principles. If you are excited about initiating spiritual conversations and are willing to be stretched and challenged outside of your comfort zone, then this short-term missions trip may be just for you.

Be ready to let God grow your character and deepen your dependence on Jesus as you face a different culture, language barriers, team dynamics, and overall slower pace of life and ministry.

Trip details:
Dedicate a portion of your summer to living among and serving with a Navigator team in Asia. You will find yourself in a fascinating, diverse culture as you see what Business as Missions (BAM) looks like in practice. Through eating amazing food in locals’ homes, you will have the opportunity to share stories about Jesus and what He has done in your life.
If you are adventurous, flexible and open to diving into a culture vastly different from your own, this trip could be for you! Expect your faith and trust in God to deepen as you are brought out of your comfort zone and into greater reliance on Christ. Although your living environment will be challenging, the deep, long-lasting relational opportunities are worth it.

Allow yourself to be immersed in a culture that will challenge your worldview. Expect your heart for the lost to grow as you engage with some of the most unreached people in the world. Watch how God uses a business to open doors to share the gospel with locals.
Come alongside us this summer and discover the plans God has for you and for the world!

Trip details:
College students in Ukraine are hungry for meaningful relationships, new experiences, purpose, and truth – all in the pursuit of their goal to develop their English language skills – and that’s where you come in!

Come and help the American Navigator team in Ukraine meet new students, build relationships, and identify those who are spiritually interested. Practically, participants on this trip will help build, set-up, and execute English speaking opportunities to meet new students (think English clubs, discussion groups, game nights, etc.). From there, you will have the chance to develop the crucial life-long laboring skill of taking initiative: taking relationships from new contacts to friends and sharing your faith (and your lives!) in Jesus with these new friends as you go.

Throughout this trip, you will have the chance to experience what it’s like to live cross-culturally, learn a new language, and walk with Jesus outside your comfort zone as you learn to minister cross-culturally. Along the way, you will receive investment from the local Navigator team aimed to help you grow as a life-long laborer, including cultivating a heart for the nations, character development, love and grasp of the Scriptures, and abiding in Jesus. We believe God wants to use this trip to develop and grow you as a disciple and help you get equipped to make disciples for a lifetime!
